Refund policy
Fourteen days on a new plugin licence, no questions that we cannot answer together. How it works, and what it does not cover.
The short version
If a plugin licence you bought from scalarwp.com is not working out, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full.
What is covered
- New paid plugin licences bought directly from scalarwp.com.
- Requests made within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.
What is not covered
- Renewal payments. Cancel before the renewal date if you do not want to continue — you can do that from your account at any time.
- Free plugins from WordPress.org, which cost nothing to begin with.
- Purchases made through a third-party marketplace, which that seller refunds.
- Custom development and other services. Those are not sold as products; what happens to money on a services engagement is covered by the cancellation terms in our Terms and Conditions.
How to request one
Message us through the contact page with the email address you bought with and, if you have it, the order number or licence key. A sentence on what did not work helps us fix it for the next person, but it is not required.
We review and process approved refunds within 5–7 business days, back to the original payment method. Stripe handles the payment, so the time it takes to appear on your statement is down to your bank.
Before you ask for one
If something is broken or missing, try support first — support is unlimited on a paid licence, and most refund requests we see are a setting away from being solved. If we cannot solve it, the refund still stands within the 14 days.
Abuse
We may decline a refund where a licence key has been resold or shared, or where the same customer repeatedly buys and refunds the same product.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
